This maca latte is warm and comforting — made with maca powder, frothy milk, cinnamon, and vanilla. It’s naturally sweetened with maple syrup, vegan, and paleo — but works just as well with dairy milk.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon maca root powder
  • 2-3 teaspoons (14 to 20 grams) maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon + more for sprinkling on top
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cashew milk or almond milk, or regular milk for non-paleo/vegan, see notes

Instructions

  • In a small pot or saucepan, stir together everything but the milk until combined.
1 teaspoon maca root powder, 2-3 teaspoons (14 to 20 grams) maple syrup, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Stir in the milk, heat over medium heat until 150 °F (66 °C), and use a handheld frother to froth.
1 cup (240 ml) cashew milk
  • Pour it into a mug and sprinkle some cinnamon on top, if desired.

Notes

  • If you're paleo, make sure your milk is just nuts + salt. No additives, preservatives, sugar, etc.
