This classic vodka sour is tart and refreshing with a thick foam and sweet finish. It’s naturally gluten-free and can also be modified to vegan.
Combine the vodka, lemon juice, lime juice, simple syrup, angostura bitters, and egg white or aquafaba in a cocktail shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds, or until the outside of the shaker is frosty. (To achieve more form do a dry shake, see post instructions).
Fill a lowball glass with ice. Strain the cocktail into the glass and garnish with a lemon wheel and maraschino cherry. Enjoy immediately.
