Eggnog White Russian (super flavorful, easy!)

This eggnog White Russian simply uses eggnog in place of the cream in this classic drink for a fun Christmas twist.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces (1/2 cup - 120 ml) eggnog
  • 2 ounces (1/4 cup - 60ml) vodka
  • 2 ounces (1/4 cup - 60ml) Kahlua

Garnish:

  • nutmeg

Instructions

To make a shaken eggnog White Russian:

  • Get out your cocktail shaker. If you don’t have one, use any jar or bottle that has a tight lid.
  • Fill the shaker 3/4 full with ice. Then add your three ingredients.
  • Shake for about 30 seconds. Fill a lowball glass with ice and strain the cocktail into the glass.
  • Garnish with nutmeg.

To make a layered drink:

  • Fill a lowball glass with ice. Then add the coffee liqueur.
  • Top with vodka and then the eggnog.
  • Stir and garnish with nutmeg.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For the vegan version, use vegan eggnog (check post for store-bought brands or make my homemade vegan eggnog). Also, use 3 tablespoons of espresso or very strong coffee + 1 tablespoon of extra rum in place of the Kahlua.
